  1. Yep, that thur girl is a real howrse trainer, ain't she!!!!

  2. have you ever worked with zebras or zorses?

  3. how about Zedonks or Preswalskis horses he hasn't trained them and he let them loose and now they are really wild. you could probably go and catch them and ...yeah have fun with that

    EDIT

you should breed them aswell, put them to a TW or something.

    oh they're in mongolia

  4. What are your credentials? Where did you go to school? Do you have a list of successful clients that will give you a good reference? What shows have you won at? Breed shows, What discipline? What is your training method? If I asked a well known trainer who would be a good trainer to go to for specialty work with behavioral problems, would they recommend you, that is, is your name "out there" and known by well respected trainers? If you cant answer yes to all of these questions and the fact that you are fishing for clients on YA tells me lots about your experience. The best you are gonna get in the department of "helping people" is answering questions on YA or advertise locally for backyard horse owners, most reputable barns have established trainers already and clients that are already boarding there and taking lessons, Money is tight for most and spending it on a mediocre trainer isnt likely, and the ones who are spending money are spending it on trainers who have World champions under their belt. Sorry for the reality check, but life is hard out there and people are just not spending money on anything extra except feeding there horses. The horse biz just is not as lucrative as it was ten years ago, when you could make a decent living off of it.

  5. can i add you to my contacts. i have recently saved a colt from the knackery and i have lots of questions on young horses as i have never broken a horse and i have only really dealth with horses over the age of about 10. your advise would be fantastic!

  6. Well, you've come to the right place if you want to do virtual training rather than hands-on training.!!

You can have a field day here helping lots of people that have lots of training issues.  Just start looking at the questions and start answering.  Just don't get discouraged when you use your expertise and knowledge and the same people that are asking for help will tell you to go fly a kite!!

As far as hands-on training in your locale, perhaps post your credentials at horse related stores, etc. and see if anyone is interested. Or perhaps in your local horse and pony newspaper or discipline specific website.  I ride Saddlebreeds and we have a forum that has a section for employment where people post.  I think there are other sites also.   If you attend shows, I'm sure if you talk to other exhibitors and network yourself perhaps you will find someone that needs assistance.  What about the barn you ride at?  I would suggest trying to find a job at a barn..most trainers have to prove themselves and work their way up.  Many people can say they are trainers...but the truth would be in the pudding and showing your successes.

If you were expecting to "advertise" yourself here, you should be more specific as to where you are located and the breed and/or discipline you ride.

    Good Luck!!
