The best babysitting activity is the park, all children will love and find things to do at the park.  If you don't have a park close then playing outside in the back or front yard.  

Cooking is a good idea too.  Let the children help you make lunch.  Younger children feel helpful making PB&J, and older kids feel more responsible if they are allowed to cut up veggies.  

Board Games.  Might sound lame but if you get games like Trouble, Sorry, or Uno I doubt you'd hear any complaints.

You could also do a search Online.

You can send them on a scavenger hunt to find out about an ancient culture. That teaches about socil studies and it's like a puzzle. You could always do a mini play and when the parents come home show it to them. Bake a cake and have them decorate it. Throw a mini party where you can make healthy and delicious foods while they make decorations. Help hang them up and blast some music. You can also never go wrong with games like, hide and go seek, tag, duck duck goose, blind mans duff(a game where you blind fold one kid and spin them 3 times. Then you shout their  names and have them try to tag your hands.)

Children under the age of 2 should not be exposed to ANY tv, computers, or movies. All children, including teenagers should not watch at the very most 2 hours a day.

Give the kids a water gun and they'll have a great time. Put a big bucket of water out where they are playing so they can refill without you doing it. My kids played for 2 hours and wouldn't have stopped except it was time to go home.
