Does any one believe all this stuff about planet x?

so one of my friends was telling me the world was going to end in 2012 cause of planet x.

i started doing some research but... i dont know if i beleive it.

No. At least people who have at least a half a brain don't believe.  Some people have been making predictions about "the end of the world" (whatever that actually means) since people began to talk, so far they have always been wrong, 2012 is no different.

I think you need some smarter friends.  When a small group of people only talk to each other and others with the same obsessions, and never look at any website that isn't devoted to their belief, the delusion is reinforced and the separation from reality becomes near total.  They never stop to think:  If the world is ending in 4 years ago why isn't in mentioned on TV?  Why isn't David Letterman making jokes about it, why hasn't a hollywood star designed a new ribbon

Just conspiracy nuts and people who don't know any better.  If you want to do some actual research, try academic journals.  Where you won't find anything at all - because no actual scientist has said anything of the sort.  And we would know, wouldn't we?

There are plenty of crank websites talking about Planet X and 2012. If Planet X was real, wouldn't it be mentioned on proper scientific websites such as those of NASA and the Minor Planet Center? The fact that it isn't mentioned ought to tell you something.

that is absolutely ridiculous. 2012 is supposed to be the day that nature ends up destroying our planet and as the ancient mayans  believed you have to have collected all 13 crystal skulls and the planet x is actually pluto so there is no way that "planet x" or pluto is going to destroy earthit is over an hour away when your traveling at the speed of light. and light can travel around the earth 7 times in one second so that is a long way

Would you believe some woman who said she was in telepathic  contact with aliens from Zeta Reticuli and that Planet X would crash into or approach the Earth in 2003?  Oops, that was 5 years ago and it didn't happen.  So maybe she got the date wrong and it's going to be 2012.  Or maybe 2432.  Or maybe 45068.  Or maybe it does not exist.    

Look for zetatalk on the net if you want a site full of drivel.  You may also find that some of her original followers have decided that she was full of it.

There are a number of interesting theories about 2012, but I have not heard one involving "Planet X".

The term "Planet X" has generally been related to the theory that there may be another body (planet?) orbiting the Sun well beyond the orbit of Pluto. This unconfirmed situation has been termed "Planet X", and has nothing to do with the year 2012 theories.

Planet X is complete bullshit. Theres no possible way. This was already suppossedly to happen in 2003, we're still here aren't we? Doomsayers just twist things around and miscalculate things, just like this "Apophis" meteor that is suppossed to hit in 2036 ;\ It wont.  And Niribu and Planet X are completely different things. It means, people of the fiery rockets. His translations are COMPLETELY false.
