I hate the media with such a strong passion.what is the point of having newspapers when half of the stuff the write about isn't even close to the truth.

for example one day they'll say Ronaldo is doesn't want to move to madrid , then the next they'll just complete change it and not even be subtle about it.

They get paid to make up stories that fufill there little fantasies.Bunch of dickheads if you ask me.I mean any one can make up a story and print out multiple stories , so why should they get paid for it apart from the fact there the only sad people that can be bothered to do it.

  1. Who the h**l is Ronaldo and why should we care whether he moves to Madrid or not?

So what you're saying here is that everything we learn from the media is just a big pack of lies.  What about the coverage of the Iraq war?  All lies?  And what about the race for President?  All lies too?  I think you might want to rethink your position about the media.

  2. As a journalist I must say, a lot of thought goes into stories and whether or not they are worth the space.

What lies? Is everything to you a lie? Sept. 11? The War in Iraq? The Queen of England?

Seriously. It seems you are living in a fantasy world.

It's not sad people doing this either. It's people who want to help others by keeping them in the know. Letting them know what is going on today, right now...perhaps you're just disappointed because it rubs you the wrong way.

Have you ever seen what has happened to the writers who make up stories. Look at Stephen Glass or Jayson Blair! They fabricated news stories and lost their entire careers because of it. Just punishment, but I don't think the media and journalists are liars.

You hear and read and see the news everyday. You can't really go about hating it all or hating the people that do it. If that were the case, I'd quit coming in contact with the news if I were you. But that would make you even more uneducated than you already are.

  3. maybe they're just reorting what they've been told.

  4. A wise man at a newspaper once told me: "We don't always report the truth. We report what people tell us."

And I have never heard of anyone in the media being told to make stories up, except for the really bad tabloids .

Don't know what happened to Ronaldo, but circumstances do change.
