Does any one else think.......?

Question

the USA's aid they are sending to Georgia via naval military cargo planes will actually land in Georgia. in my opinion i have a pretty good feeling Russia will shoot it out of the sky.

whats your opinions?

I am an ex-Green Beret retired,I really don't think Russia wants too mess with us right now,we are exhausted  in Iraq,and Afghanistan.They might bite off more than they bargain for.I think they are just flexing their might in that region to let everyone know they are still a power to reckon with.

Bush will start World War III before he leaves office. That's the plan. The problem is he is messing with the wrong countries now. Iran and Russia are not like Iraq. Russia has the most nuclear weapons in the world. Even if it comes to an all out nuclear war Russia is at an advantage. Their population is so low and country is so large. They are so less concentrated. Now think of how many American cities have populations above one million, ideal for nuclear bombs.

I believe some form of aid will arrive but I don't think that the Russian government is going to start throwing punches at the U.S. navy.

Russia will take us out if they wanted too! But they would let Iran finish the Job instead of getting their hands dirty! Like Iraq and how the Iran's supported the jerks who killed our military and got away with it.

This  is  such a  mess,  First  Georgian  forces  blew  up  most  all  of  a  city, and killed thousands.

Russia  rightly  angered  struck  back.  As  bad  as  it  seems ,  they  were  much  more  selective   as  to  their  targets.  Mostly  air  bases,  satellites,  and complexes.

Also  have not  heard  from  the  Georgian  president,

" Why  did  he direct  or ok  his  troops  to  blow  up  S.  Ossetia ??"

A  question  that  we  have  not  heard  asked  yet !!!

Now  Russia  is  seen  as  the  aggressor.  So  they  see  USA  as  offering  aid   and  defense   to  the original  aggressor.

Where  is  the  aid  to  the people  of  Ossetia ?

Just  as  USA  and Russia  were  starting  to get  along,  now we  are  back to  near cold war status.

We also have ships with humanitarian aide going. What do you think Russia is going to do? The already drew the battle line by telling the US to choose. Russia or Georgia. We chose Georgia.
