  1. Yes, I like that track and they should run a Cup race there.

  2. YES.. Yank a race away from California and let's go racing @ Kentucky!!!

If this happen'd I literally would rejoice. Kentucky has been an awesome track in the Nationwide series, Craftsman Truck series, IRL series, and the IndyPro series. Next to be seen @ Kentucky --> SPRINT CUP SERIES!

  3. Shaggy is correct.  Kentucky is a nice track, but the next one will be added will be in Indiana not far way from the Kentucky Speedway.  I don't see them putting so much money into the Salem track to add one in Kentucky so close.  Too much is on the table at Salem for the future of all the forms of automobile raring for them to even think of Kentucky at this time.  Maybe 20 years down the road, maybe.

  4. well you gonna see one in 2010 like it or not

  5. Yes, but it depends on what track loses a race.

  6. Oh I DO , I DO. ( he said jumping up and down, stamping his feet.and waving his arms) . I would really enjoy having a Cup race within 2 HRs ( speed limits were meant to be bent) from my front door. Cookie Cutter track or not. I'll be there with bells on each race.

  7. Yes, Bruton Smith "whats" to see a cup race in Kentucky.

  8. Kentucy does have a great track, however the next track to be added will be in Southern Indiana in a small town called Salem.  They are in progress right now in the final red tape to remove the famous 1/2 mile high bank speedway (the Bristol was formed after) and replace it with a 5/8th mile high bank and a 1 mile road course.  Like Texas it will be the next Motoplex of racing with testing and development centers.  Progress in way for other large companies like the NHRA, Hass, Purdue, Hilton Hotels, Holiday Inn, Fast Food, ect...to moive in the area.  The development for a new highway run a round is in progress and much more.

For Kentucky to get on the Cup series, it will be a while down the road if it happens.

  9. Not me.  The nstionwide race was a snoozefest.  The track is too wide for good competitive racing.  And quite frankly the last thing NASCAR needs is another cookie cutter track.

    That's just my opinion.  I

  10. Oh yeah. I definitely need a home track.

  11. NASCAR doesn't need another 1.5 mile cookie cutter track surrounded by several other tracks in which it will take fans from.  Besides it doesn't even have that many seats.

Give the Cali race back to Darlington or at least find a short track to race on.
