Does any one have a fish tank that they would like to give to me for free?

Look for your local Yahoo freecycle group. You can post what you want and someone local can give it too you.

I have a 10 gallon tank if you want to come and get it or pay the shipping.  You'd probably need more money for shipping and/or transportation than it would cost for even a new, larger tank.

If you can't afford to buy a fishtank (10 gallons ones cost 10-11 dollars at wlamart) then you won't be able to afford the fish, supplies, and any other extras, like medication, you will need for a fish. The fishtank is one of the cheapest parts!

Check on craigslist or in the "free" section of your local newspaper...   People are always trying to get rid of that sort of stuff.

Try posting an ad on craigslist that you are looking for a free tank. I`m just concerned if you can`t afford the tank, how can you afford the filter, heater, and fish supplies necessary for tank upkeep? Not to mention the fish themselves. Maybe someone out there is nice enough to help you out. But, remember, fish care takes money.
