Does any one have a knitting pattern for a poncho for a child aged 18 - 24 months?

  1. Goodness me!  You don't really need a knitting pattern for a poncho!  Cast on one stitch, increase at each end every couple of rows until you get to the shoulders and then decrease the stitches - or knit each side separately, keeping notes on what you did for the first side.  A poncho is usually a triangular shape, but can also be a square rather like a tabard.  And I don't think that a child of 18-24 months is going to panic too much about what is in fashion at the moment!

    If you really need to work it out first, buy some graph paper - it really works - and good luck.
