Does any one have and COOL ideas for an 8th grade science project?

please!! im really having trouble thinking of ideas.

o nd i would like an experiment that doesnt require a lot of materials or maybe something i could find at home

  1. Please do not make a volcano.  It's a little over-used.  If you're being judged on your project, then make sure you pick something original.  Your project will lose a whole lot of points instantly if it looks like you didn't put thought into it.  What is usually a very good idea is to take a scientific principle that you've learned sometime in your schooling and put it to the test.  Newton's Laws are a great place to start.  Maybe you could use toy race cars to show that while objects in motion tend to remain in motion, the force acted upon it by friction brings it to  a halt.  

    Naturally you'd want to put a little more effort into it than that, but you get the idea.

  3. ok take baking soda, then put it in a cup, then start pouring vinegar in the cup, nd watch wat happens
