Have the reception after lunch, so all you would need is finger foods.  Buffalo wings, all kinds of cold cuts, all kinds of cheeses, crackers, small bread, pickles, olives, carrots, broccoli, radishes, dips, celery, artichoke hearts, salads (like broccoli salad, potato salads, macaroni salads, jello salads.)  Walking taco, nachos even burritos cut into one inch slices and placed on their sides look really nice, chicken strips, ambrosia salad.  You can serve punch, just keep a few extra gallons of it, make an ice ring out of it for the punch bowl, and it won't water it down.  You can freeze fruit in it to make it look nice.  Have strawberries, grapes.  A lot you can do the day before or order it from a deli.  But having those tiny little pieces of breads and crackers, people can make their own little sandwiches.  You can use lots of garnish to make it all look pretty.  Like the radishes, make them look like roses.  Keep lots of toothpicks on hand, as wells as plastic flatware.  Paper plates and napkins to match your color theme.  You can cut a large watermelon into a basket, scoop out melon balls, and add back into the basket the melon balls, with cantaloupe, honeydew and grapes.  Just Google for more ideas for finger foods and garnish.
