Does any one have any lebanese sweets recipes?

I dated a Lebanese girl and their desserts were fantastic, my favorite was zalabi haf or Lebanese doughnuts. Her "teta" always made the best food.

ZALABI HAF

Ingredients:

500g flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon yeast

1 or more cups of water

2 cups of oil (for frying)

Knead the flour, salt, yeast and water together to get a light dough. Let it rest for an hour. Heat the oil in a wok. Take egg-sized pieces of dough and lightly stretch them, then drop them in the boiling oil. Remove when golden and dispose on absorbant paper. Serve lukewarm or cold, sprinkled with sugar or accompanied with honey or jam.
