  1. Very annoying and rude - As far as I'm concerned they could shove their phones where the sun don't shine!

  2. I am a server and had a horrible experience with one particular woman dining at the restaurant I work at. I absolutely do not greet a guest who is on their telephone. It is obnoxious and rude. She waited atleast twenty minutes and when she got off her phone, I promptly went over to greet her.

She was angry, but people need to realize that we are here to do our jobs. Servng customers who are on the phone simply takes way too long and it interferes with us getting our job done. Therefore, you can wait all night as far as I am concerned.

That just so happens to be my biggest pet peeve as a waitress.

  3. i went on a date with my boyfriend to olive garden, and we were surrounded by people on their cell phones. it's amazing how incredibly rude some people are about it-they'll ignore the person they are with and talk for 10 or 15 minutes!

my experience with it is, if it's something to do with kids at home or some other emergency, answer it at the table. if it's going to be more than 2 minutes, excuse yourself and go outside to take the call.

  4. Yes,it don't bother me as much as it use to.Cause it's everywhere you go now.Even in church peoples cells have went off before.I say leave them outside unless you are a doctor on call.

  5. I nearly got into a fight with a chick in a theater because she kept talking on her phone. I kept asking (well, yelling really) and she just kept rolling her eyes, I finally went and got the manager. By the time he got there she was off her phone and he could do nothing about it.

  6. I absolutely want to kill them.  Especially the ones that are so loud.  They seem to be the ones that are on all the time.  I would think they would want some privacy themselves.  I have heard the most embarrasing personal conversations I could ever imagine.  I mean we have all these laws protecting our privacy and these idiots are announcing all their dirty laundry for the world to hear.  I just heard what some man did to the womans panties who was standing in front of me at KINKO'S about 30 min ago.  The little boy standing behind me with his mother who was mailing a box was laughing his little butt off.  I wonder if I just join in the conversation will they get the hint? "Eeew really, did it leave stains in your panties?"
