Does any one have ideas for fifth grade book reports?

I need some ideas for a fifth grade book report project. Since its the end of the school year I want my students to have a book report project to work on in class for several days....any ideas?

have them make costumes and dress up as their character...each kid can do a little 2 to 3 min. presentation and then you can have a little party after...

If they've already read the books or you have one in mind, have them make a comic strip report of the book.  They need the beginning scene, the ending scene, and can then choose other important scenes to include in between.  

You could also have them make a diorama of an important scene in the book.

Have them write about what happens to the characters after the story.
