I love the way my food turns out. I have 2 red and one in the color dune. I want to know what colors you have and do you like them as well.

  1. I have a dutch oven, and two of the smaller saucepans.  The colour is white.  I bought them on sale about 15 years ago, and the colour hasn't held up very well.  Any nick or scratch is visible.  Apart from that they function very well.

Even though I love them, I haven't made any additions to my collection.  With the reduced availability of coil electric ranges, I was warned that the Le Creuset cookware would scratch the surface of the ceramic tops more widely available.

  2. I love them, pity they are sooooo expensive!

I have a casserole  and a griddle pan , both red.

The are so versatile, they can go from the top stove straight to the oven and they make the best casserole or steak.

I even cooked a whole chicken in the casserole one, delicious!!

  3. I absolutely LOVE my Le Creuset cookware.  I have 8 pieces.  6 in red and 2 in white.  I even bought a wok in red!

Nothing sticks.  The heat retention and dispersement is perfect so nothing cooks unevenly and I can use a lower heat setting!

Plus, its SO pretty.  I can bring my cookware from oven/stovetop to the table.  No additional pans to wash...

I can rave enough about Le Creuset!

  4. I have a complete set.  About seven pieces with lids.  Plus I also buy from time to time other accessories they offer.  They cook well but are heavy.   Mine are black (special order).

  5. I used to sell le creuset. It is one of my favorites.

To federica and chocolatelovely: you can get le creuset about half price or less at TJMAXX and Marshalls.

I have a 5 oval dutch oven that is "flame".

I also have a couple 3/4 qt saucepans...one black, one white.

I also have a chicken fryer...it is white.

I really wanted a paella pan when they made them with the straight sides....back in the old days, but I didn't buy it and I missed out.

Other than that, I own Bourgeat restaurant quality stainless from France.  Between that and le creuset, I wouldn't have anything else.

(except maybe a 2qt all clad saucepan and a couple berndes non-stick pans).
