I have a betta in a 5 gallon heated tank with filter. But the tank is kinda awkward i think it's for hermit crabs or something of that sort. There's no way i could find a hood with a light to fit it. He has silk plants in their now, but i would love to get a couple of live aquatic plants, to help out the quality of water. He's by no windows and there's a lamp on the stand with him. Does anyone know any aquatic plant that would survive under these conditions. Any advice would be awesome!

thanks:)

  1. Those bamboo stick plants (sorry I don't know what their called, but they are considered good luck in Chinese culture) are cool, they look good and are hardy

They sell them at Petco and Petsmart

  2. Apontogeons. I think those things can grow just about anywhere. You can get a pack of 5 - 6 bulbs for like $2. Just drop them in and let them sit sit on the gravel. Not all will sprout, but the ones that do will grow fast. When they sprout little white roots plant them very shallowly in the gravel. I have them all over my tank.

  3. Hi I don't know of any but I found this site for you.
