  1. I didn't know 8th grade had valedictorians.

You can google inspirational quotes though and get tons!

  2. I think you'll do great finding a quote. if you are indeed the valedictorian you should be bright enough to find one:)

    Good luck!

  3. Sorry to disappoint you, but in the grand scheme of things it means nothing.  Just tell everybody to be the best person they can and be forgiving of others.

  4. Hmmm, try this website:

    http://www.quotegarden.com/learning.html

It has some good quotes, I think. Such as:

I don't think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday.  ~Abraham Lincoln

I am learning all the time.  The tombstone will be my diploma.  ~Eartha Kitt

    By the way, congratulations!!

  5. i was valedictorian too...last year

anyways, i didnt use any direct quote, but like you can talk about what "valedictorian" means in latin and how you are going to go into a next level  where there will be many changes, but your memories will always be there even if you are doing other things.....

    i hope that helps...good luck

  6. a speech isn't all about  a good quote in fact I'm the valedictorian for my grade 8 and the quote i used was  "i'm not going to quote some intelligent mastermind of our time. although he may come close, he can never describe the most memorable year of my life"

  7. A ship in a harbor is safe — but that is not what ships were built for.

It's just an old saying. Say something about going out and getting what you want. Leave the harbor and set out on an adventure.

  8. i have to do one for 6th ffrade too uhhhh.

umm heres one " as we all know school is the solid foundation to walk through life, to invent or to inspire" i used that iin mine but my aunt told me that one

  9. 4 more years!!!!!

  10. Here is a few:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same.

    --Marianne Williamson

To achieve great things we must

live as if we were never going to die.

    ---Vauvenargues

Be who you are and stay true to your heart because

those who mind don't matter and those

    who matter don't mind.

    ---Dr. Seuss  (haha)

HOPE THIS HELPS! I DID ONE LAST YEAR, AND IT WAS TOUGH. ANOTHER IDEA (IF U HAVE A SMALL SCHOOL) IS TO TELL WHAT SOME OF YOUR CLASSMATES MEANT TO YOU THIS YEAR. AND ANOTHER THING, BE SINCERE, AND BE YOURSELF. DONT BE SOMEONE OR SOMETHING THAT YOU AREN'T

  11. your 1st day of kindergarten was scary

the last day of middle school made you cry

and the end of highschool will blow your mind

it's all the memories in between

    we'll remember & cherish forever

you could change it aroung alittle

    hope this helps... (:

  12. lol I just got chosen for grade 8 valedictorian.

i used the quotes, though I forgot who they are by..

"Education is what turns mirrors into windows."

That's by Sydney J. Harris, i think, and

"Education helps us have the power to follow the beauty of our dreams."

That's by Martin Luther King, I think....
