That's like a web site to learn how to do an appendectomy.  To learn diesel repair you need to try a class at a community college or something like that.  There are several sites like boat diesel.com that have forums to answer questions, but you still need to have an understanding of how the engine works to make sense of it.  Add a generator to the mix and you have a whole new set of things to understand so you do not ruin all your AC equipment on board or worse electrocute yourself.
