does any one know if the 2nd row seat from a 2002 for explorer mountaineer will fit in an 02 ford explorer xlt 4 door. thank you for helping

cheap no, go to a junk yard, and just clean it.

It should, but to make sure check to see how many bolts are holding the seat  down and its pattern...

I don't see why it would not fit. They are built on the same platform- it should fit no problem, but you never know because sometimes they will change one little thing on either. I'm sure others will chime in, but I am guessing it should fit. Hope this helps.

the best way to find out is to try it because all parts have thier own little mods.

the latching hooks will line up but not latch without some persuading. A small hammer and some precise blows to the bottom of the rails that the latching hooks are welded to...toward the center of the seat will align the hooks so that they will latch. The arm rests on each side will have to be removed for spacial reasons.
