Question:

Does any one know about financial aid for college classes and worker's comp income?

When I started college I had to show the previous year income taxes to the financial aid department. Now my DH is trying to go back to college, but our income last year was mostlly Worker's comp, which is not taxable. So we only have about 2500 bucks as earned income to show as part of our taxes. Does anyone know if that will stop us from getting financial aid or how does it work? Thanks

  1. You just need to fill out the FAFSA. It asks very specific questions. Give the information they want and you'll be ok. Most of the questions refer to your tax information but some is about how much money you have in the bank, etc.
