Does any one know about the moreno tunnel?

Question

it was a water tunnel bringing water to Moreno Valley CA from the santa ana river but thats all i know.

anyone know anything else ?

The Riverside Badlands Tunnel Project was a 12716m long tunnel constructed from Moreno Valley to Redlands, California as part of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s Inland Feeder Project.

The project was completed in 2003.
