These trucks look like 1 ton pickups with a goose neck trailer. Usually short hauls and lighter loads.

I am getting ready to retire and would like to travel. I heard that delievering RVs is not a very good job.

Thanks

  1. Delivering RVs can be a very good job if all you want to do is get out of the house and see the country.  I have hauled trailers from southern California to Florida and up into Canada.  Unfortunately, the pay rates are not keeping up with the cost of fuel, and I actually lost money on the last three trips I made... That's when I decided to sell my truck and quit the business.

  2. They are called car, truck and RV transporters and I would say that it depends on the amount of RVs that are delivered and the distance that they come from but at the same time you will need to check into insurance to cover your loads which could be very expensive.
