Ive worked at my anite so i didnt hav an interview but...i work a baby store so try this..." I love kids...I grew u around kids... I hav alot of patients... I can try som fun activities with them" ( look online for those type fun activities in google and the their ages...

I am a director of a child care center.  It is important that you dress appropriately in comfortable clothing with low heels.  Make sure you let them know how reliable you are.  Children need consistency and they will be looking for someone with excellent work ethics.  Make sure you voice your love for working with and educating children.  It is also very important for you to fit in with the current staff.  If you have a working interview make sure you offer lots of help to the teachers in the classroom.  Offer to help clean up and make sure to spend more time with the children than talking to the teacher.

Discuss the importance of getting down to the children's level when communicating with them.  Also make sure you ask for their discipline philosophy and show enthusiasm for implementing the school's philosophy and ideas.

if you have any experience, let them know and get references, Show how friendly you are and be on time.

I have worked in many daycare centres and now run my own childcare form home.

If you show that you are confident, but respectful, and polite, willing to learn, you should be ok.

yes i actually work at one. u just have to LOVE kids and have patience. most require some previous child care experience but for the most part have a clean record be drug free and SMILE!

Talk about your experience with children, why you enjoy working with kids and why you want to work with children.  If you enjoy crafts/art you can use that when working with children.  Same thing with sports (wee sports - large motor), science, etc... talk about why you would be a good choice and what you can bring to the table and teach them.
