im looking to go Australia in December and im getting around £1200 for 4 weeks, is that about right? Also how do you go about applying for a Visa?

yes i know maybe it could be orbitz.com or any airlines that go to australia and for avisa card you may go to visa .com to apply for a card or go to your local bank for more info

Check out ZUJI, they do air fare comparisons. If that doesnt help look into Japan airlines, Singapore airlines. Qantas and United tend to be more expensive, if you wait till June/July Qantas normally have a sale.

Pd1200 (sorry we dont have a pound key) would be at least double in Australia $2400. But airfares alone would cost that, I don't think you have nearly enough money. Accomodation is around $100 - $200 a night and in December you can be paying $500+
