Many years ago my Mom signed my Senior yearbook with a little poem. That yearbook was lost in 2005 when Hurricane Rita devastated my home town and the old home place.  I must say I do not remember any of the "cute" signings, but my Mom's little poem is still with me, I carry it in a special compartment of my heart labeled words to live by:

"Remember dear, and bare in mind

a faithful friend is hard to find.

So when you've found one tried and true,

trade not the old one for the new."

I like personalized signings. I had a friend who said the same thing in every yearbook. It was like she didn't know whose book she was signing OR CARE.

Whenever I signed a yearbook, I always made it personalized. Even if it was someone I didnt spend that much time with I still said something that we had in common or how much fun they made the year. How having them it my year made it better even if we werent always together.

I think personalized is good, because when you come back 2 or three years later, maybe even longer and you read it you remember that person.
