Does any one know any french banks in NJ or in USA?

Question

I will be traveling abroad and i want to have an account set up already here so that i can use over in france with no charges!

any ideas?

If it's just for one trip, ask for a credit card from your current account. You'll actually pay less on exchange rate on your credit card, and you can get a personal id set up on it to go to the tam machines. And you don't need to lug around ceveral hundred dollars on yourself

You could also check with your current bank to see if they are partners with a bank in France.  For example, the Banco di Roma is a partner of my USA bank and I was able to use their ATMs in Rome for no fee.
