Does any one know how a flag bet works?

please explain in as much detail as u possibly can but a simply as u can. plus how much would a 10p flag cost?

Have a look here I wa sthinking of a Union Jack but apparently it's different.

This says 4 selections 23 bets so £2.30.

I think it means the if you have one winner then you get a bit back and the rest goes onto the next selection.

Sounds like a bookies bet to me.
