  1. I live in Melbourne, Endeavour Hills, and I know that fast food outlets are always recruiting.  KFC in Melbourne has been expanding it's staff base for a while noe.  Macca's pays better, and there are always the supermarkets.

You are certainly old enough to be employed.

Stress your reliability, your flexibility and research a little about the companies you will apply for.

Customer service skills and personal presentation are essential.

    Best of luck!

  2. Yeah love you are 'legally' old enough to get a job now..My best bet would be to do a training course if you want to work in a supermarket, sales and retail course will get you any retail job you want..Or you could go ibto your local macca's and ask if they have any jobs going OR ask them how do you go about getting a job, they take kids your age all the time,i know KFC prefers their workers to be 16 but it is worth a chance just asking to speak to the manager and asking how do you go about getting a job through them..

Good luck in your job hunting.....

  3. I really hope your still at school... but anyway fast food resteraunts or supermarkets are a good idea... because your so young their bound to hire you bc they can pay you less.

Just go to their websites... or umpiring is a good way to make cash (and it's CASH so no tax)

So if u play any sport like netball, basketball etc. u should ask your local club how u get into umpiring $18 cash p.h. u can't beet it at your age!

  4. Hi, Tor.  You ARE old enough to get a job.

Try at all the supermarkets and retail shops in your suburb: you'll often see signs in the windows seeking young people to work there.  I often notice signs like this in Brumby's bakeries and the like, dress shops, sandwich shops...

My first job was in a chemist's - that wasn't a bad place to start - clean and safe. You could also try Macca's and the other burger chains, Red Rooster, and Nando's.

I don't recommend any kind of factory unless you're really desperate - I've worked in several.

Hairdressers might be willing to give you a couple of hours a week, sweeping the floor, making coffee, and greeting customers.

    Good luck!!

  5. Make up a resume and go to your local main street or shopping centre and give it to some of the stores you are interested in working at

  6. U r still under age to get a job any where.

  7. you are eligible to obtain a job.

    check:

    seek.com.au

    my careers (in the Age)

    local area

also you can cold canvas. it means you give you resume to shops for the mamager.

    good luck
