  1. I would call it cheating, but you want to get some terry cloth (or linen) torn into strips and wrap that around the leg, then tape it down with electrical tape.  Same exact way people tape their ears if they don't want to be sissies and wear headgear.

  2. Do you mean the line-out lifting technique? To lift on the knee in the line-out you need good props and a good hooker throwing in the ball to make it worthwhile. In this case it's about body positions and timing for the jump and lift. To be honest, if you're not playing to a high standard it's good enough to lift well from the shorts. In this case, the props start with a grip on the shorts - palm upwards - then as they extend their arms rotate the wrists for palms down. The trick is more  about getting up quickly and across the opposition jumper than getting very high (from lifting on the knee).

  3. First thing, get some pipe insulation, u know that black sutff that is in a tube and is cut down one side, and you will also need black electrical tape.  Take the tubing and cut it to pieces about 3 inches, enough to cover half of the front of the thigh. next roll the tubes section into a tight cylinder(stick one side into the other and roll) then take electrical take and go around each "sausage".

Then you are ready to tape these onto the legs of the jumper.  i would lay down a layer of white tape then the "sausage", then cover with white take and electrical tape.  The lower the tapeon the thigh, the greater the height advantage.

  4. hands gripping base of shorts with thumb under shorts and fingers on the outside. palms facing away from you, then when u lift u twist ur wrists/arms about 90 to 180 degrees depending how much allowance the shorts give you ,creatign a frim grip, and when u lift u cove forward and come together so ur arms are virtually vertical, and hold him up their until he has a firm grip on that ball.

  5. You need props with stronger hands....

I don't know where you can get them, I am from Argentina and we don't have them here, I friend of mine playing at Bristol uses them
