Run of the mill, no chef style cuisine, just fast food style bbq and all the cliche stuff you get in the kind of insipid mall restaurant.

Try this spanish one: El Rincon de Raffa, hidden side street of Deansgate, castlefield side. Its original, fresh and loud!

I went to el macho a few months back, and it was freezing in there! We did go early, about 6.30 so maybe they hadn't put any heating on but not really an excuse, it was too cold.  To be fair the food was quite good, can't really complain about that.  But the service was a little chaotic, the waitress didn't have much english.  I would go again, in fact I have tried to ring since but  their number wasn't working.  So, go early and take an extra layer, or later when it warms up but you'll be amid the hen parties!
