  1. Attacking - best way is to dodge or roll off the player defending you.  Give yourself plenty of room, particularly coming out for the centre pass

    Defending - keep the feet moving and be up on your toes.  Defend using your outside arm and go for any ball with two arms.  Try putting yourself between the player and the ball at all times.

    Man to Man - when each player plays one on one against the opposition following the same player wherever they go.  This is an alternative for playing a zone where each players defends a section of the court.  It is best to mix up the type of defence you are playing but all players have to participate for either style to work successfully so communication is vital

  2. attacking: use skills such as dodging and leading to move away from your player and make a positive approach to the player with the ball

    defending: stick to your opponent like glue; if they gain possesion get your 3 feet and put your hands over the ball;

    man to man: not really a term or tactic used in netball but stick tight, keep an eye on the ball and your player at all times and put pressure on the ball and on your player

  3. attacking; keep away from you player look for open areas so you are free to catch the ball.

    defending; arms up!!! can't stess that enough  - arms up!!! especially in the goal circle. keep on your player.

    mam to man; never face your player stand in front back to them - watch their shadow and guard them

    good luck hope this helped =)
