Does any one know of a limousine service that isn't expensive here in Los Angeles?

You get what you pay for... say if your area rate average is $85 per hour and you suddenly find one for $65, did you find a deal?.... Likely not, what you probably found is a small operation with outdated equipment, with defective amenities...

Listen to the person your talking to when you call... If you hear them say "and we have all late model cars" hang up.... If the car is more than a couple model years old you don't want it...and the reason they say late model is because it sounds better then to say it's a 2000 model...

If a company is offering 06 or 07 models, they will proudly declare such...

Also cheaper deals often aren’t properly insured either.... There is a reason the rates are what they are, it's to pay for the million dollar liability insurance they are supposed to carry, the cost of fuel and the cost of maintenance ect...

Once you have selected a company you want to hire, go to the lot where the limousines are parked and inspect the vehicles, arrive unannounced so you can get a true picture of the operation...Don't be afraid to ask to see the insurance card/policy to make sure it's on the up and up...

Also always pay by credit card if possible, this way if there is a problem, you can contest the charges with your CC company and you have recourse, pay by cash and you have no recourse and will never see compensation or a refund.

Also if the driver is rude or inattentive, don't hesitate to remind him that his attitude will reflect in his tip...I personally like to do proms, they are my favorite job to drive and I always get along with the kids... Have a great time...sorry I'm not in the LA area....
