Does any one know of a palce that does height reduction anywhere in the world?

When I had my L5-S1 disk removed, I lost a quarter of an inch. Nothing remarkable but it was height lost. My father lost four inches between the ages of 40 and 59. My mother lost an inch and a half since she turned 45 (she is now 57). Other than aging, amputation, and major spinal surgery, I've never heard of any height reduction techniques.
