I lived in Summit View Village which is about 2 minutes from downtown Golden, decent apartments, thin walls but better than most in Golden.

I also lived in Golden Ridge Condos, which are also a couple minutes away. There are always some for rent, a little nicer with a nice clubhouse with hot tub, pool, sauna, etc.
