Two places you can check.  

First is your local SPCA.  They may have bunnies that need adopting.  They may have mini-lops.  A lot of people get rabbits, especially around Easter time, then give them up when they find out how much work they are.

2nd is look for your local Cooperative Extension in your county (there is one in each county in every state).  They should have 4-H clubs.  Some 4-Hers raise rabbits.  This can be a nice way to find them also.

Remember that rabbits can be a lot of work.  It's best to get them fixed.  When they're not neutered, the boys can spray all over (urinate to mark their territory), and females get EXTREMELY moody.  You also need to handle them regularly so they don't get aggressive. Rabbits have sharp, pointy teeth that HURT when they bite.  And yes, they do growl.  

Rabbits can be litter trained, which is the good news.  You want to have a cage for them so that you can put them in it when you're not watching them.  Otherwise, they will chew through any cords or things they can get.  This will hurt/kill them and cause damage to your house.
