Does any one know the Latitude one gets from a Canon 40D ?

Basically the range of the brightest to the lowest f stop that can be visible and exposed from the Correct Center F stop.

Eg If my latitude is 8 stops, and am shooting on F 8 then every thing below F1.4 will be Black (under exposed) and any thing more then F22(over exposed) with be white.

Depending on the ISO and whether or not you have highlight tone priority on or not, but I'd say somewhere between 10 and 12 stops is about right.
