you can go to petsmart and get a 10 gallon tank for $11...now I'm not sure about the filter and pump and everything.

i think i saw one for less , 3 gallon with the entire setup (filter, heater and light)

Target has some really unique aquariums, check out there website. They have one you can hang on the wall even.

well there are some good ones on craigslist but you might have to go over 45 just a bit and like everyone else said try walmart or target for cheapies

there is a place on the web called freecycle you can ask and get a free one. people have stuff sitting arround and give it away instead of sending it to land fills

I bought a 5 gallon tank from Petco for under I believe $25.00 if I remember correctly.That include the filter gravel and a small artificial plant.

It probably wouldnt be brand new but i would try craigslist.com. find your area, and type in what your looking for

at walmart they have starter kits with the tank lid food ect. but it doesnt have gravel but it is cheap 30-40 dollars :)

I know that if you buy a ten gallon it will not be over 45. If you buy a small kit it will be even cheaper. I know that walmart does sell some kits, but they are small. Just keep looking online and hopefilly there will be some good deals. Try petsmart.

Mamadamus says go to craigslist.org and select your state/city, then go to the "items wanted" section and post an ad for an aquarium in your price. Mamadamus says you might be pleasantly surprised at the rapid response.
