It's my grandmothers maiden name and it is definitely German and I was wondering if anyone could find out what it meant for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

  1. Most likely the name has been changed slightly in America, as it  is only known as "Lehmenkühler" in Germany. Its origin is a mountainous area in Westphalia, called Sauerland. "Lehm" is meaning "loam", "Kühler" is referring to the word "Kuhle", which is "pit" in English. The "Lehmenkühler" was a person who was living by a loam pit or working there, maybe as a brickmaker.
