staples vary depending on the deck your building (long list of staples few of which are in all decks ... the rest are easily considerable in most decks)

for this format:

monster reborn

premature burial

threatening roar

solemn judgment

mirror force

torrential tribute

bottomless trap hole

enemy controller

book of moon

brain control

DD crow (usually in side deck though)

neo-spacian grand mole

snipe hunter

DD warrior lady

lightning vortex

sangan

mystical space typhoon

heavy storm

dust tornado

crush card virus (some may disagree but anybody with it will try to fit it into their deck somehow)

all of these cards (and probably a few more) i would consider to be "staples" for yugioh decks ... although you would not be able to put all of these in ... most people stick with monster reborn, premature burial, mirror force, torrential tribute, crush card virus, heavy storm, mystical space typhoon, lightning vortex

depends on the formate, I dont know the all of the staples for Advanced  but i know the staples for Traditional.

oh, and if you going to make a Kubio deck i hope you have some killer traps and equip cards. cause wing Kuribo's effect, and kuribo's effect are alright but you better makes sure you have winged kurbio level 10 and can summon it. a Kurbio deck isn't good at all unless u can come up with a good stratigiy to incorperate in to the Kuribo deck that is better than Kurbio.
