I would recommend trying a yamaha shop, they would be the best people to tell you where to get this kind of work done. If you don't mind paying for shipping send it to yamaha's shop, I sent them a bike once it was a comparable price, but i got a hefty 680 dollars round trip charged in shipping. I would also recommend contacting local mechanics I had my uncle rebuild my 07 fz6 after I blew the engine a few races ago. Cost me 350 dollars. And it runs better than new (might I add he ported and polished it too :0D)

Depends on where you live,the fj's are an easy motor to work with,you could get a manual and do it yourself,a dealer is going to charge you an arm and a leg,google for bike shops in your area and ring em up and get some quotes,steer clear of a dealership.
