Does any one know where i can get a free copy of my credit report?

lost of these websites claim that there free but u still need a credit card number 4 them...any information would help out so much...thank you

The others gave you the correct site to go to (www.annualcreditreport.com).  I just wanted to add that you are entitled to receive free copies all three of your credit reports once a year (I mark this on my calendar and do it like clockwork).  I believe a couple of states let you have more than once a year, but definitely make sure you at least do this once a year.
