Life-size? You mean your size? Or large enough to hold a bacterium, which is also alive? And do you really mean formaldehyde? Formaldehyde is a gas. Formalin is the solution that is used as a preservative, usually diluted 1:10. At least that is the strength you'd use to preserve your pesky kid brother ....
