Does any one know where the best catfishing places are in washington state?

I live in Michigan but I have been to Washington State a few times and did some fishing.  I have caught a few catfish (although I was not trying to catch any catfish) on the Columbia and Snake Rivers.  Someone told me while I was there that the state record catfish fish was caught out of the Columbia River.  I have no clue why you want to catch catfish? They are disgusting! Why don't you try to catch some trout or bass? But if you want catfish then put some sinkers on your line and let in hit the bottom of the river, lake, or whatever and they should go after it......good luck fishing
