Does any one know where will you will ever use a box and wisker plot in the real world?

i get extra credit in math class if i can figure out when you will ever ever use a box and wisker pollt in the real world! so.... help please

We use them everyday in the finance office of Jaguar Porsche and Audi sales. I work at a car dealership and I had to re-aquaint myself with them so I could fully do my job. Trust me, I never thought I'd be working here when I was in school and now I am and now I'm realizing maybe all that mumbo-jumbo in school wasn't just for sh*ts and giggles.
