Does any one make sense out of Mugabe?

If, at all how much of his struggle is sense and how should this be ruled out by the AU

ok jokes aside, the AU should definitely do something about it, as he's paving the way for more greedy dictators. Problem is how? He's got a lot of people with a lot of guns. There will be bloodshed. Well more than usual anyway

Nelson Mandela just had his 90th birthday.

When he was younger he was put in prison for fighting to get

rid of white rule.

Now he is recognized as a great statesman by the whole

world.   Mugabe  was also put in prison before he became

president. But the whites want to get rid of him because they

think it was their land.  

Nelson Mandela proved to the world that the land belonged

to  the  black people before the whites stole it from them.

Mugabe wants to ensure that they do not get it back.

The whites falsly blame him for the poverty.

They know and any honest person knows that the poverty is

caused by people who want to destroy him and return to

white rule with their power and privileges, keeping the blacks

poor and their servants.

If it is right for the blacks in South Africa to have self rule it is

right for the blacks  in Zimbabwe.

Mugabe will be recognized in history in the same way as

Nelson Mandela.

History is not racist  It has no greed. It only finds the truth.

Truth will be found and written in books for all future

generations to know how the people at the time hated to face

the truth because they wanted to hold onto their stolen power

and privileges...

The history of the British colonial empire has been written

and all that America has done in Viet Nam.

All the shamefull deeds have been written and will continue to

be be written.

It must be remembered by those who do wrong.

Yes - he fought for his country's independence and so he has a lot of respect and a following from those days - sadly he is now living in the past and i suspect he is surrounded by sycophants who tell him everything is fine it's only the west and the rebels ruining his country.

There is little any one outside the country can do and not much that those inside are able to do.  Eventually he will die and the mess will somehow have to sort itself out - I suspect with a great deal of violence - cf Hitler, Stalin, Tito, Mao Tse Tung, Jomo Kenyatta, etc.  Only Nelson Mandela has successfully steered a country from imperialism and apartheid to democracy (but there was and is still a lot of racial violence in South Africa).

With great victory comes great sacrifice. I'm really not sure if the world is prepared to make that great sacrifice. One small war can lead to the 3rd world war.

Now with Mugabe in for another 6 years it can only make Zimbabwe's problems worse. I can make sense out of him though. Mugabe is a greedy selfless cold hearted killer, but we can only hope for the best i guess.

I mean we wouldn't want America coming in as Zimbabwe has a bit of oil. Either way you and me go to bed each night without any troubles sleeping ey?

all i know is that if  Mhugabe was the leader of an arab or muslim country........Amrica and Britain would had declared war on it in the name of   "PEACE!!!!!"
