It is called Sleep Paralysis, a phenomenon where you're caught between dreaming and waking. I've had it before and it can be truly terrifying! It's also the reality behind many of the incubus / hag myths.

It's not a ghost it's called sleep paralysis just try to move like a finger and you should break it it's like your dreaming but awake just try to stay calm when it happens and you'll get over it and try and keep your legs atrait when in bed it helps

Hi,

I am actually an Investigator with a Paranormal group.

It sounds as though you may be talking about something called Hypnogognia ( which usually lasts about 10 minutes, and is the period which a hormone is secreted that paralyzes your body). If you have other occurences going on in your home, my suggestion is that you have some one come in and do an investigation. If you think it is Hypnogogia, you can look it up on the internet for more info. Just dont take some of the answers you have received for anything other than they are. This can be a scarey experience.
