if there is going to be a new season of moonlight on cbs or r they changing stations, or is it just not ever coming back?

Unfortunately the morons at CBS cancelled Moonlight in May - despite winning &#039;Best New Drama&#039; at the Peoples Choice Awards this year! Apparently it was known as a &#039;bubble show&#039; - i.e. it had a very loyal fan base but the overall ratings weren&#039;t high enough to convince CBS to commission a second season.

There were a lot of petitions and campaigns to get a second season and there was a website dedicated to saving the show - but check out the message that&#039;s on there now:

There were rumours that it might be picked up by the CW but that&#039;s not going to happen - the CW say they&#039;re looking for new shows not &#039;recycled&#039; ones.

There was another rumour about DirecTV - but it seems that was due to misinterpretation by a fan who posted all this stuff about an online poll from DirecTV that wasn&#039;t official at all.

I heard recently that the sets have all been dismantled now so it looks like Moonlight is well and truly cancelled : (

But there&#039;s always True Blood on HBO in September to look forward to for a vampire fix..... ? : )

CBS canceled the show.  :(

Haven&#039;t seen anything about it being picked up by another network.
