Does any one think fuel cost is a scam?

Isn't just amazing how the "speculators" manage to find some thing to use as excuse to increase fuel cost right about the time a holiday comes around..i.e. Labor day weekend, Memorial day, Fourth of July etc. Does any one see a trend here? Should people start to take matters into hand and start putting direct pressure on big oil executives when they are seen out in public? Oil Jumps $5 today because Russia has been flexing military muscle..are you kidding me and they didn't jump the prices the day Russia rolled into Georgia..are you kidding me..Please!

Gas prices are a direct result of how much foreign countries think they can rip off the US. If we had Reagan in the white house all the other countries would fear us again and drop the price to something reasonable.

Big oil is run by Muslims.

We are at war with a Muslim country, and they are sticking it to us.  

I love some of the reasons oil has gone up.  "Brush fire in boondocks, Nova Scotia, oil up!".   "Threat of fistfight in Zimbabwe schoolyard, oil up!"

It's the biggest scam in the world, created by none other then the US oil companies, because the perfect conditions exist at this time for them to get away with it.-Two oil men in office, the president, whose entire family forturne was made from the oil business, and the vice president, who recieves one million dollars a year in retirement from Haliburton,which is one of the richest corporations in the world, with the biggest majority coming from their oil business. Plus the fact that neither of the two are running for office again, so they don't even have to act like they care. And it doesn't hurt for the congress to be in big oil's back pocket, due to the big money the oil companies use to influence congress and the laws they might pass to protect the consumer.. People need to remember that 2 months ago, there was a bill in congress that would have made it illegal to price gouge people on the gas and oil issuses. IT FAILED! Does the word corruption and crooks come to anyone's mind when they think about this? Our system of government is broken, and must be fixed!
