Does any one think that Jr cheated when he went past the pace car?

If it would have been any other driver they would have been in trouble but not Jr and if it would have been kyle busch Jr fans would have flipped out

  1. no one, let me repeat here, pay attention, NO ONE in the history of NASCAR has ever been penalized for pulling slightly ahead of the pace car like junior did. he was warned, he complied with the warning, and then he won the race. so no, sorry son, but any other driver would NOT have been penalized for doing what junior did. it's a non issue, please just dry your eyes and move on with your life.

  3. I don't know whether he meant to do it or not. It was NASCAR's responsibility to penalize him and they did not. I guess you could say he cheated and didn't get caught.

  4. he passed the pace car way up front of it, about 10 car lengths. i guess if you are nascars golden boy money churner, you can do whatever you want. he gained an unfair advantage by being able to coast longer because he built up his speed by passing the pace car.cut and dry penalty. you all need to admit he got away with it and then we can all move on. i know you all saw the same race i did. it was not unintenional. he knew exactly what he was doing

  9. I have been going to and watching Nascar races since 1968 and I seen other drivers do it before,even hit the pace car and NO one was ever penalized !

  10. You're right about Jr. fans flipping out if Busch had passed the pacecar. I would be one of the biggest ones. But Bisch would have passed it on purpose. Jr. coasted by it unintentionally and could not slow his car down-because the friggin engine was off! LET IT GO!

  11. I'm so tired of people asking this question over and over and over again I could be rich by now if I had a quarter for every time it's been on here! Jr didn't cheat it was Nascar's call Jr won can we move on now please, there is a race this weekend to think about!!

  12. Yes, the pace car was up front all day and could have won easily if Jr had not passed it.

If the rule book says its illegal then its illegal.  How can someone say no?     Not that its a big deal to me.   Once was fine but then to do it a couple more times could have and possibly should have warranted a penalty.    He had no choice to pass the pace car a few times to stay up to pace car speed.   Again I don't care and have explained several times he won the race in a way many have done in the past but if its the rule no one should say he didn't do something illegal.   NASCAR would have not likely made a call against anyone.  There could have been a riot and we would have lost MIS.

  17. It is against the rules but Nascar wouldn't have called a penalty on anyone. Trust me, if Nascar loved Jr. that much, he wouldn't have recieved a 100 point driver/owner point, $100,000 penalty and lost his crew chief for wing brackets last year.

  19. Ok last time I am answering this lame answer.  Jr did not violate the intent of the rule as he dropped back behind the pace car after coasting in front of it.  This comes out of the mouth of the people in charge if he had gone around the track it would have been a violation

  25. OMG, this is so unreal that people are trying to accuse Jr. of cheating and it is being done in front of EVERYONE. If anyone trys to CHEAT, they do it thinking that they WON'T GET CAUGHT............Many Many drivers have done this in the past. NASCAR got on the radio and told him to chill and he did........................How in the word is this constituted as cheating???????

How Plz tell me how what can he gain by passing the pace car i just don't understand  y'all some times do y'all just wake up in the morning tell your mom and dad I'm going to get on yahoo answers and call dale Jr overrated and a cheater and say he cheated and stuff so you can get a pat on the back and mommy and daddy tell you how proud of you they are
