Does any south american country have bullshiit divorce/sepration laws like the U.S. ?

  1. Dominican Republic laws are just as bad. She gets half of everything and if you're an American married to a Dominican you're really screwed. Been there done that. She was making $100.00 a month working but got $900.00 a month alimony. Needless to say I don't live there now. I paid what she was worth. NOTHING


  2. Panama is full of these laws ever since they instilled the "codigo de familia." (family code)

    Keep in mind,until recently,some South American countries,one could not get divorced.

  3. Probably all of them.  Divorce wasn't even legal in Argentina or Chile 20 years.
