  1. in this day and age they should all stock the noodles,   try the refrigerated department, they may be there as well as the dried foods section

  2. Usually any Asian supermarket chain will carry udon noodles. If there is a Japanese supermarket around your area, they will definitely have it. I don't where you live, but around my place, I can find it at Marina, Ranch 99, Lion Supermarket, and a Japapnese supermarket called Mitsuwa.

  3. Depends on what chains you have.

Our local wegmans has an international section and in that section they have an entire wall full of japanese noodles including udon.

Our local giant has some noodles, but not udon.

Our local walmart also has some noodles, but not udon.

Out local weis is lame and doesn't carry anything good.

When we lived in Pittsburgh we had 2 Giant Eagles that sold just about every Japanese noodle you could think of.

In Pittsburgh there was also a Whole Foods that carried them.

So, you're going to have to look around or give us more specifics about what's near you. Of course even if we knew what stores you have yours still may not carry them. I live in a college town right now, so there are plenty of asians and asian markets. So the bigger stores are attempting to compete with the Asian markets.

  4. If you are in the UK, all the larger, major supermarkets stock them.  If you are anywhere else, who Knows?

  5. Go to chinese/oriental supermarkets

  6. where i live there are the local asian suoermarket chains super 88, mings, c-market, kam man
